FundsUp spoke with founder Remi Battaille, who is working on MyPitch, which started as a news platform for provincial football and has grown into an innovative video and statistics platform.
Players can now relive their performances through automated match footage and analysis. Thanks to collaborations with football clubs, the platform is scaling quickly. Currently, MyPitch is in a funding round to enable further growth.

Why did you start MyPitch, and how has it evolved?
“We originally started as a news website, sending reporters to local football matches to write reports. That drew 60,000 monthly visitors, but we quickly noticed the rise of social media and the decline of traditional reporting. Players wanted to be in the spotlight themselves. That led to a community platform where players shared their performances, but the lack of video footage was a major shortcoming. In 2021, we decided to pivot to a video and statistics platform. We researched how to use AI and cameras to automatically generate match footage and analyses. Our goal became to give players access to their own performances without needing them or their families to film the matches themselves.”
How is MyPitch positioned in the market?
“We focus on football clubs that don’t yet have access to video footage and analysis. Most professional clubs invest heavily in advanced tracking technologies, but at the amateur level, that’s financially unfeasible. MyPitch offers a solution that lets clubs get match footage without high costs. We emphasize that MyPitch isn’t just for self-analysis and talent development—it’s also a digital extension of the football experience. Every level and every age group should feel included. That’s very important to us at MyPitch!”
How does the financial model work?
“Our revenue model is partly based on a freemium structure for players and partnerships with sports brands. We ensure that clubs need to invest as little as possible, while players can access additional features through optional upgrades—like detailed analyses and gamification.”
What’s the current status of commercialization?
“We’re currently in talks with fifty clubs and aim to reach at least 150 clubs to become profitable. One challenge is the initial cost for clubs, so we’re looking for ways to lower the entry barrier. That’s why we’re exploring financing options to partly cover hardware costs for clubs. We’re also developing new features to increase player engagement. We’re working on pre- and post-match content, interactive statistics, and gamification elements like ‘Man of the Match,’ ‘Goal of the Week,’ and other community-driven competitions. These strengthen engagement and help us grow our user base.”
The MyPitch Interface

You’re raising funds. What do you plan to use the capital for?
“We aim to raise at least one million euros to scale faster and further develop our product. Our team has already made impressive progress with limited resources. To improve the platform and onboard more clubs, we need additional funds. The investment will be used to reduce hardware and installation costs for clubs so we can grow our market share more quickly. We’ll also invest in technology, like AI-driven highlight generation, and in marketing to reach more players. Our goal is to build a solid ecosystem where clubs, players, and fans play a central role.”
What are MyPitch’s long-term plans?
“We want to turn MyPitch into the standard platform for match registration at the amateur level. Through automated video solutions and smart analytics, we can help players grow, strengthen clubs, and build a vibrant football community. Our ambition is for MyPitch to become the go-to platform for amateur football. Beyond serving as a club’s digital extension, we’re building an ecosystem where players can improve, get discovered, and bring fans closer to the game.”
What message do you want to share with investors and other interested parties?
“Our technology and approach are unique in the market. Despite limited funding, we’ve been able to compete with major players. We’ve had talks about acquisitions and strategic partnerships, which shows that our product and team are solid. With the right support, we can scale quickly and become a gamechanger in the football world. Our focus is on rapid adoption and scalability so that in the coming years, we can become a dominant player in this market.”
