Role description
We recruit Fundsup Investor Table Captains by sector, industry, theme, technology, and sustainable development goal. Captains invest themselves (have ‘skin in the game’) and form syndicates with 5 – 8 other angels. This creates a group that together spots investment opportunities, spreads risk, helps portfolio companies grow, safeguards knowledge, deploys networks and makes a major impact together. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your extensive experience and background to invest in emerging startups in Europe, backed by the team at Fundsup.
Responsibilities
- Shares this role, news and announcement about the Investor Table on social media
- Is ambassador of this angel syndicate at events and in the media
- Discover, together with the other Table Members, new investment opportunities on Fundsup
- Guides the investment decisions of this specific Fundsup Investor Table
- Set up the table’s ‘Table Policy’: ticket size, deal size, way of decision making, table investment focus, portfolio management division of labor and other frameworks of this Investor Table. (We have templates to help you with this.)
- Determines admission of members who sign up for this table
- Helps Fundsup set up this Fundsup Investor Table
Ideal profile
- Preferably knowledge and more than 5 years of experience with angel investing, corporate finance
- Is an experienced operator in the chosen sector, or has an affinity with this sector combined with a professional specialty such as legal, financial, technical or marketing knowledge.
